The twenty representatives of the Serie A clubs gathered Tuesday by video conference at the League
assembly voted unanimously to complete the 2019/20
season, which was interrupted last March with the entry into force of the measures
to contain the epidemic. The League's decision came the day before the meeting
between the Italian football authorities
and the Minister of Sport Vincenzo Spadafora in which he will discuss possible
ways to resume the championships. The unanimous vote of the Serie A teams shows that even the clubs
that until a few days ago said they were in favor of the early conclusion of
the 2019/20 championship have instead voted in favor.
